There were many Lotuses and other light weight cars present, they seemed to quite serious about their pace and I only found out of the reason for this recently. They were taking part in a private championship that they hold at various track days, such as this one, specifically for light weight cars. It’s based on fastest times and their split up into classes based on performance, all pretty neat.

A very cool idea for those wanting to compete against friends or fellow people on forums.

Unfortunately it doesn’t always work for everyone. This is what happens when you get cars running at very different paces, pretty normal for open track days.

Mmmh… more Advan RS on an equally sweet Evolution VIII.

Wasn’t expecting brand new 2011 R35 GT-Rs to present and used on track. It was nice to see the new styling in person.

350Z time.

Functional Flush, fucking awesome.

The UK has been infected by the fake wheel craze, while Italy’s culture towards branded fashion products has translated nicely into the automotive world. The selection of wheels present was outstanding.

Red works well.

There were quite a few GT-Rs present, some with some soft tuning. A nice selection.

20″ Toyo R888, serious business.
