Franciacorta Track Day 27.03.10 Part 1

March 27, 2010

Today I went to Franciacorta circuit to check out their Track Day event. They usually have one once a month where anyone with a street legal car and a license can run. The weather was particularly good today, I was hot in a T-shirt in March, so awesome… I actually got a headache because I’m now used to British weather. I got there nice and early as the first cars where running at half nine.
I was quite impressed by the amount of track enthusiasts present and the quality of the cars there.

There was a large Lotus gathering made up of mainly Elises and Exiges.

The Gulf style paint scheme (but in black and orange) looked great with colour matched wheels…

The Italian wheel manufacturer NTM has a great design.

Type-S?

I don’t think the Type-S was available in Italy but those Volks are yummy.

The car was trailered in on a Porsche Cayenne.

So many Elise/Exiges, never seen anything like it.

That’s it for now, I took like 800 photos so it’s going to take me a while. There were some mechanical gems there…
